Nelson & Nelson demonstrates its strong community presence by sponsoring many local activities such as the South Western Illinois Epilepsy Association Summer Stroll, CASA, several 10k runs and a variety of soccer teams. In conjunction with the Committee for Citizen’s Awareness, the firm has sponsored a video tape entitled “The Courts and You” which features Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg, Representative Jerry Costello, and others explaining the U.S. Court system. This video has been distributed to hundreds of high schools and civic organizations throughout Southern Illinois.

Nelson & Nelson also sponsor a cycling team in St. Louis called Big Shark, as well as the annual Law Day Run in Belleville, Illinois.
