Dave was proud to have participated in a $11.18 million dollar settlement against Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc., the makers of U by Kotex® Sleek® Tampons, U by Kotex® Fitness® Tampons, U by Kotex® Click® Tampons, and U by Kotex® Security® Tampons in Regular, Super, and Super-Plus Absorbency.
The settlement was approved by the Circuit Court of St. Clair County and resolved claims that Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc. made defective products that unraveled and/or came apart upon removal. Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc. vigorously denied Plaintiff’s allegations and asserted that neither Plaintiff nor the Class suffered any harm or damages.
Through arm’s-length negotiations with Defendant’s counsel, Plaintiff’s counsel were delighted to secure a substantial benefit fund for the Class Members.
